Lincoln Vista & Jesse J. Warr Recreation Centers
Community
Overview:
Based on a concept provided by the owner, Symmetry First Architects developed a prototypical design for these two neighborhood recreation centers, built within existing neighborhood parks. The 2,000 sq. ft. centers provide a large meeting room, a pantry kitchen and restroom facilities. In keeping with direction from the owner, the interior and exterior building materials are extremely durable, vandal-resistant and low‐maintenance. The large meeting room can serve a variety of uses, including party rentals, neighborhood meetings, after-school care, exercise classes, and summer recreation programs. The buildings were constructed simultaneously by one contractor.
